The next morning we were off to the Park City Mountain Resort. This is a short 10 minute ride by bus. The bus stop is right in front of Club Lespri. Did we mention that the transit system is free in Park City? We decided to bring a child to “kid test” the ski school for all of you parents who travel with children.

This is where your child will learn skills for a lifetime of skiing or riding. Their children’s instructors are experts at creating a fun and safe learning environment and your child will be in a group of children with similar abilities of a similar age. Our instructor formulated a days worth of activities that blended fun and learning. Lunch and lift privileges were included in the purchase price of an all-day Kid’s Mountain School.
KIDS MOUNTAIN SCHOOL
KIDS MOUNTAIN SCHOOL
These instructors are children's specialists. The group spends the day exploring the mountain and learning how to take the next step as a skier. They are focused on developing the children's skills and confidence which are accomplished on varied terrains all over the mountain.

It was an exceptional experience for our smallest “reviewer”.

For the grown up’s we recommend: Park City Mountain Resort Rentals.

They offered the finest ski and snow board rental equipment, as well as a Premier Demo Center. Here, you are able to try the latest and greatest skis such as: Atomic, Dynastar, K2, Rossignol, and Volkl. They will rent you whatever you need by the hour or by the day.

We want to thank the Park City Mountain Resort for a very memorable and enjoyable day of skiing!
After a very active day on the slopes, we headed back to our sanctuary, “Club Lespri” for a very relaxing evening with a steam and whirlpool, prior to our 90 minute massages!
They began with a “foot pampering” with hot stones prior to the massages. It sure felt good after a day of skiing!

The massage therapists’ were a welcome treat after the day on the slopes. The spa is located downstairs near the steam and whirlpool area, so there was a relaxing, non-rushed feeling.

After our “heavenly” massages we were off to a very special dinner at the Sai-Sommet Restaurant.

This Restaurant is located about 20 minutes away from the Club Lespri so a cab is recommended.

Well, if you are looking for a very secluded location for that “special dinner”, we have found your location.

Sai-Sommet (pronounced say-so-may) was given its name from a Swiss-French phrase “saison des sommets”, meaning “seasons of the summits”. Chef and owner, James Dumas wanted something that would describe the atmosphere, cuisine and the fine wines which are served at this fine dinning establishment.
This mid-mountain location in the Deer Valley Club in Silver Lake Village has it all. Its cozy ambience, soft music and an award winning wine list helps to relax and enjoy the moment.

We started out with the chef’s daily soup, which happened to be butternut squash; it was quite nice with such a unique flavor.

Next we tried the salad of wintergreens with hot house tomatoes (what a treat).

Our main courses were the Norwegian Salmon, and Sautéed New Zealand Elk. Both were delicious without a “Game taste on the Elk”.

Their specialty house dessert is the Gingerbread Soufflé, make sure you try this, it was outstanding! We also had their chocolate du Jour as well, ooh-la-la!

We brought along a smaller reviewer to “kid test” the “smaller sets” taste for all the parents traveling with children. They passed with flying colors! No matter if you are traveling as a couple or with children, this would be a great choice when you come to the Park City area.
