You will find magical
charm in this 150 plus year old country estate.
Today she is
in an urban setting surrounded by world renowned universities,
museums, theaters, shops, and of course some of Boston’s
favorite day spas. Casual elegance describes this Inn, featuring
twenty beautifully decorated rooms. Each room is uniquely furnished
with one of a kind antiques. There is such a variety of amenities
in each room such as fireplaces, and Jacuzzis.
The guest rooms and
suites are furnished in a style befitting a country Inn. Our
favorite was room number seven. The owners have kept much of the
original interior especially the elegant open stairway.
After a fabulous breakfast we were off to gather the spa information
for our readers. Located a short 20 minute ride on the “T” rail,
to Newberry Street, our destination for all but one of the
day spas.

Although this spa’s discreet setting does not lend itself
to the rich and fabulous the services and treatments were quite
outstanding. Try the through hot stone massage; this is one of
the spas calling cards!

Pampering, and intentionally calming. The sofas and chairs are
multi-hued, plush, and inviting. Soft classical music provides
a soothing backdrop. Bella Sante is one of the few area spas
that offer the “oxygen facial”.

You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after lounging luxuriously
in antique-inspired chairs while listening to subtle, harmonious
music soothing your spirit. The staff was friendly and accommodating,
and the prices reasonable.
