We arrived in this quiet residential neighborhood and found this property to be so charming.
The first thing we noticed were the smiling faces of the couples leaving.
The original tin roof still graces this grand Victorian painted lady in a park like setting shaded by century old oaks.
The high ceilings and beautiful but distinctly comfortable furnishings, an eclectic mix of antiques, traditional and unusual pieces seemed to give us both a sense of stepping back in time.
This Bed and Breakfast is two houses that have been refurbished into a luxurious retreat with plenty of amenities.
It is only a few minutes away from downtown Asheville where you will find Park Place with its Colburn Gem and Mineral Museum, the Asheville Art Museum, Health Adventure and the Diana Wortham Theater.

What a comfortable, down-home atmosphere we both noted.

The hospitality of Carol and Albert made us feel like we were spending time with old friends.
Both our male and female reviewers felt this B&B/Spa offers the right mix of privacy in your own guest room and camaraderie on the huge wrap around porch.

We made our selves at home and felt a real sense of peace here.
Most of the rooms had fireplaces and whirlpool baths.

We were offered tea or wine in the afternoon as well as a bottomless cookie jar in the parlor. A long soak in the whirlpool tub was the grand finale before retiring. We found
Pillow sweets, bath treats and cozy luxurious robes.

The next morning we had our fresh-brewed Starbucks coffee and home-baked pastries which was followed by our gourmet breakfast served by the fireside in the dining room.
Very romantic!
Our spa treatments were created exclusively for our specific needs.
We received our treatments in the “couples’s treatment suite”.

Our female reviewer was given the “cupping therapy”. This was a special massage that loosened the tightened mussels that also helped increase circulation. She felt so relaxed afterwards.

Our male reviewer was given what was called “Muscle Meltdown”. This treatment incorporated hot stones to sooth his tense muscles.

This massage has a unique style that offers long strokes with aromatic liniments made to work with the hot stones. His comment afterwards was, “incredible!”
